    Prepare your students to transition from IGCSE French 0520 to IBDP French

    • This live online workshop is aimed at all teachers teaching Cambridge IGCSE French(0520) syllabus and who prepare students for the IBDP French B Course. The guiding questions for this workshop include: 

      • French 0520 syllabus and framework - Approaches to teaching.
      • Assessing the Reading & Writing components and making links with the French B written productive skills(text types).
      • Assessing the Listening & Speaking components and making links with the French B oral productive skills.

      The workshop leader, Nitisha Hazareesing, is also the author of the Support Sites: French B and MYP Language Acquisition / French B Prep.

      The workshop consists of 3 x 2-hours of instruction, discussion and break-out activities. Check out the Session agenda.

      The number of participants is limited to 20 participants, who will be able to engage with each other and the content through Zoom and this website. Recordings of each session and downloadable content will be made available to participants.

      Please note that participants will have access to a "Teacher pack" via a Googledrive.

      However, the workshop cost does not give access to the Philpot support sites.

      Participants will receive a digital Philpot Education certificate afterwards. This workshop is not endorsed by the IB.

      Teacher Pack included
      This workshop comes with a teacher pack with exemplars of  assessments for various units, unit planners, models and resource booklets, assessment preparation for students and various resources to deliver this course.
