Although you've just started the course, it's not too early to start preparing for your oral exam (IOA). A useful tool for describing the visual stimulus is the ability to single out a person in the photo based on their clothing. To do this, you will use relative subordinate clauses.
Subordinadas relativas con "que"
Relative subordinate clauses with 'que'
- A relative subordinate clause is a dependent sentence that provides additional information about a noun or pronoun in the main sentence. These clauses do not have a complete meaning on their own, as they depend on the main sentence to complete their meaning.
- Relative subordinate clauses are introduced with relative pronouns such as que, quien, cual, cuyo, cuyos (that, who, which, whose) among others. Their main function is to specify or describe in more detail the noun they refer to in the main sentence.
- In Spanish, we mainly use the relative pronoun 'que' to refer to both objects and people.
