One of the core skills in this course and one of the IB approaches to learning focuses is communication. When students have a difficulties communicating complex ideas (as can be seen in this essay) it's worth asking: "Is this student taking the right English course?" Arguably, the student who wrote this script would benefit from taking English B, where he or she could focus on communication skills more intensely.
