2.2 Dove Campaign for Real Beauty

The following worksheet introduces you to the Dove Campaign for Real Beauty. You are asked to identify the key stylistic features of film and commercials. You will analyse a commercial from this non-literary body of work (BOW). You will create an outline for an individual oral on The Bluest Eye and the Dove Campaign for Real Beauty. Finally, you create your own 60-second commercial for a (non-sensical) gendered product, such as 'men's toothpaste'. According to Mr Philpot's course outline, this worksheet should take about 3 weeks at SL and 2-3 weeks at HL.

This worksheet prepares you for a mock individual oral. For your final individual oral, the combination of global issue, literary work and non-literary body of work (BOW) must be new. You cannot simply redo an old IO.
