Deep Dive: eAssessment for Language Acquisition

This online training is aimed at teachers of the MYP Language of Acquisition in the IB intermediate program who would like to prepare their students for the eAssessment, or who would like to familiarize themselves with the eAssessments of this program.
The workshop facilitator, Nitisha Hazareesing, is the author of the MYP French Language of Acquisition (Philpot Education 2021). She has led several second language training sessions and served as an examiner for the IB.
The workshop consists of 3 sessions (3 x 2 hours). The number of participants is limited to 20. Participants will be able to interact with each other and will have access to course content via Zoom and via this website. Tutorials and downloadable content from each session will be made available to each participant.
The price of the workshop is €400 (excl. VAT). Participants will have access to a number of resources to help design and prepare eAssessment style assessments. Register now.

Workshop leader
Nitisha Hazareesing has taught for 25 years in several programs and is passionate about language teaching. Her motto is to instil in its students a love of language and to encourage them to build and assert themselves through language. She was an examiner, and is head of department of foreign languages and co-author of the French B Support Site, author of the first MYP Language Acquisition French and French Ab Initio Support Sites for Philpot Eduation, a provider of educational resources and workshops.
