  • What do amazing IOs sound like? We will unpack the assessment criteria in detail and examine the skills that students need to perform well on the IO. How can we best introduce the IO to students and run the exam fairly? How can we help students formulate a good global issue? What kinds of structures help students juggle the many components of the IO? What do good outlines look like?

  • What problems often occur in the IO? How can these be avoided? What types of literary works and non-lit BOWs work well for the IO? How can we build units of inquiry to help students appreciate these works while developing the skills they need to do well on the IO? How might students use ChatGPT to prepare the IO?

  • Here's a space for you to communicate with others in the workshop. Sharing is caring.

  • Please download your certificate of participation below after the workshop has taken place.
