The following unit of inquiry introduces you to the poems from The World's Wife by Carol Ann Duffy.
ATLs
Analysing poetry line by line requires critical thinking. This unit asks students to scaffold their own thinking and avoids copy-paste ideas from the Internet or AI. .
Assessment
This unit helps students develop half an IO. Students will annotate poems, develop a global issue and create an outline of a 5-minute oral, which may or may not be performed as a mock-IO in class.
