Clara Fuentes Torruella, originally from Platja d'Aro (Girona, Spain), is a language teacher since 2010 and an IB trained teacher for Spanish B since 2015. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Spanish Language and Literature and a Bachelor's Degree in Catalan Language and Literature from UdG, Universitat de Girona (Spain), as well as a Master's Degree in Secondary and Upper-secondary Education. Moreover, she is an IB, IGCSE and DELE examiner. 

She has been a teacher and researcher of the Phonetics Department at the University of Girona, then a high-school teacher in Spain, and, since 2016, she is an International High School teacher of Spanish in Singapore.
