History
Philpot Education started in 2008 as the freelance work of Brad Philpot, who, besides teaching at an international school in Amsterdam, organized teacher-training workshops and wrote educational resources. Between 2013 and 2019 Philpot Education was a licensed 'Provider' of teacher-training workshops for the International Baccalaureate (IB), training thousands of teachers on a range of subjects. Since this licensing agreement ended, Philpot Education has been able to make resources and workshops more available and affordable for schools around the world, regardless of their means. Philpot Education would not be the organisation it is today without co-owner Aafje van de Hulsbeek, who has managed day-to-day operations since 2013.
